- Title
- [D8818AUK], Letter from Alfred Ord Tate to Clifford Thomson, October 2nd, 1888
- Editor's Notes
- I sent a copy of your letter of 1st to my European representative, Gouraud, Little Menlo, Upper Norwood, Surrey, England, with the request that your order for a phonograph be registered and satisfied as early as practicable. I cannot say just when it will be practicable for Gouraud to carry out your wishes, as the date of the commencement of the delivery of phonographs to the public in France will depend upon the completion of his arrangements to merchandise the instrument in that country. I am sure, however that when the time comes your wife will be provided with the facilities you desire her to have.
