"I need not tell you that I am much obliged for the very interesting documents furnished from what I learned from Mr. [unclear] there was some talk of some arrangement among the Edison Employees or by the management of [unclear] a qualified medical man to regularly attend them at [unclear] figure annually if any such scheme once completed and a [unclear] price of say $1000 yearly and I could fill the bill Hence would [unclear] an object in a change of [unclear] with some little guarantee. I would not doubt getting a fiar [unclear] but would not think of leaving y practices here and entering the lists with my [unclear] of a family to keep I should very much like a change to a larger more progressive place and imagine with a fiar that I could hold my [unclear] even with this office such as I speak up there would be others to please and I would only hesitate as to my [unclear] in doing that there should not be much trouble when once acquainted with the men. I could sell out here to god advantage about any tie It would be only pleasant to be near you and Mr.s T and when fairly [unclear] we could enjoy [unclear] life and American scenery. That is one thing with in [unclear] we can get along well with the American people and I have had a great desire to live among them since my Memphis trip and I have sometimes thought if a good opportunity presented I would try it. Our Canadian [unclear] are so quiet there is not much money to be made [unclear] you especially our [unclear] as better in the [unclear] I hear from TB[unclear] that Mrs D is enjoying her visit she will be good company for Mrs. T [unclear] Judge has returned He has not been very well since her return but I have not called [unclear] I shall do so tomorrow. The ridge will [unclear] to have the establishment in full owing again Goerge is among the [unclear] and is in a fair way to earn money. I am so for [unclear] you [unclear] ship comes in [rest unclear]"
