Title
[D8828ABB], Letter from Evansville Gas and Electric Light Co, J B Hall, Jr. to Thomas Alva Edison, April 4th, 1888
Editor's Notes
"Replying to your kind offer of the 30th ult., would say that I want a circuit closer that will close circuit at each revolution of a wheel and break the circuit even though the wheel stopped suddenly. ### Thus the wheel revolves on the gas passes through the meter; and should gas flow thro' meter be stopped just as the circuit is closed the current to indicator would be continuous and use up battery. ### I tried to obviate thiswith a spring but did not succeed." Yours truly, J.B. Hall Jr. TAE marginalia: "Make drawing and point out defect--you do not give data enough"
