- Mr. Thos Edison Dear Sir, I have been requested by the Committee to raise funds for a testimonial to Messrs Duffy & Imgrund's Band, to write to you and see if I could get you to subscribe to the fund, the Band played on the Commons here in Orange all summer for nothing and the concert was attended by large crowds every week and was enjoyed by the poor people, as they could not go any where else. The Band are to get new uniforms and we wish to help them to get them in this way. You can send your check if you wish to subscribe to Messrs Duffy & Imgrund or you cand to the Secretary of Committee Hopkins to hear from you soon, I remain Respectfully, Wm.
