Nov. 16th 1892.
Dear Mr. Tate
The Church I am attending in the city are about to have a “Church Fair.”
I thought it would be a great attraction if we could have a Talking Doll. Have you any good ones? And what would be your most reasonable terms for one to exhibit say three evenings? Do you sell them?
I would take charge of it myself and as I am accustomed to them would show it to good advantage.
The fair is to be the 13th, 14th & 15th of December and I would like to know definitely as soon as convenient.
I am ashamed to trouble you but “a bad penny always turns up “you know.
Yours very truly,
[Signed: Annie K. Doak]
