- Editor's Notes
- recd sample sent 20 June is first classs; has found soure of platinum in hydraulic placer mines of California that is practically inexhuastible taken from the flumes in cleaning up of the Cherokee Flat Mining Co or rather the Spring Valley Water & Mining Co carries 80 oz of platinum to the ton. just finished a process for extracting from tailings that produces large quantity of gold and platinum; if all your sand is as clean as sample process would take out every particle of gold and silver; about to test process on larger scale; "Of course it is only a laboratory process and you probably know that laboratory processes do not always work in practice in fact not one process in 100 works in practice." wants larger amount of sample for testing; if process works TAE willing to give process in exchange for the platinum it saves
