- Your favor of the 4th ult was duly rec'd. The process you refer to is for working auriferous iron or black sand dry. The machine costs [pound] 500 and the capacity is 150 tons daily at a cost of about [pound]2 outside of carting sand to the apparatus--which works up to 90&. Royalty charged is 1/2 pense per ton.
