Your letters to Mr Edison & myself of 22nd to hand.##Mr Edison will be in the City every day this week & it is consequently difficult to make an appointment. I think if, when you want to see him, you enquire at 65 5th Ave you will doubtless be able to learn his whereabouts.##Mr Edison says he does not exactly see why you want me to be an [Insecporator] of the [caucl] Motor Co. If it were purely an electrical motor Co he would then be able to understand.##Of course in all such matters I am guided alone by him
