- I am in receipt of your favor of the 30th. ult. In reply to your questions, I beg to state that I have not applied stored electricity for the purpose of locomotion as I do not believe that in the present state of the art it is possible to do so economically. I do not know of any railroad having run by stored electricity but have some recollection of reading of some experiments in this connection being made by the Faure battery people in Paris some five or six months ago.
