- "I have your favor of May 9th. I understand from the Edison Company for Isolated Lighting that the armatures were billed to you at $300 per armature in error and they have made the necessary credit for the overcharge through Mr. Navarro. The transaction is now so old that I cannot see how I can intervene with relation to the complaint you raise as to the state of the armatures when shipped to you. If your orders were given direct to the Edison Machine Works instead of through the Edison Company for Isolated Lighting, I do not think you would have any reason for complaint."
