"Your letter of recent date has been duly received. Mr. Edison will be very pleased to see the members of your Society at the Laboratory on Sunday, December 2d, any time after two o'clock p.m. If it would be convenient, we would like very much to have a double sole quartet visit us before Dec. 2d., in order that we might have a small trial before asking the whole chorus. We will send you some time next week a number of passes which will admit the members of your Society to the Laboratory. Kindly let us know the number of gentlemen you expect to come here and we will issue passes in accordance there with." Yours very truly, A.E. Wangemann
