Editor's Notes

I have pleasure in acknowledging receipt of your favor of the 17th inst., but regret that owing to previous engagements I shall be unable to accept your invitation to attend the conference the conference to consider the advisability of holding an International Exposition at New York in 1892. I would add, however, that I am thoroughly in sympathy with such an enterprise, and shall be only too glad to do everything in my power to assist in the movement.
