Editor's Notes: I have a number of circulars in regard to our new battery, and I want them to reach the hands of the various Division Operators and Superintendents of Telegraph throughout the country. So far as possible I have taken names from the 'Travellers' Railway Guide,' but this appears to be very incomplete, as I find the list numbers only a little over 300. Would I be asking too much to request you to let me have a copy of your list? Of course I will pay all expense of getting it out. I may add that whenever you want data for a 'write up' on this new battery, I will be very pleased to give it to you. Mr. Edison has been away for the last ten days. Upon his return, to-morrow, I will send you a check for your bill. Very truly yours, A.O. Tate
