Dear Sirs:-
With reference to your bill against Mr. Edison, under date 19th instant, amounting to $479.79, Mrs. Edison went South before approving the same, which is the reason for its remaining unpaid. Mrs. Edison is expected to return to Orange within the next few days, and just as soon as she reaches here. I will have her approve the bill in question, and send you a check in settlement.
