June 15, 1891. Canadian Subscription and Publishing Co., #621 Craig St., Montreal Canada. Dear Sirs:- Reply to your letter of 28th ultimo has been [delayed?] owing to my absence. Mr. Edison’s eyes are of a bluish grey, his hair is iron grey, and his complexion somewhat sallow, inclining to pallor. He is of stout build, and about 5ft. 10in. in height.
