Dear Sir:-
I enclose herewith Mr. Edison’s check for $13.86, in payment of the enclosed bill for School tax for School year from July 26th, 1891 to July 26th, 1892, on property in Montville, N. Y. How does it happen that your percentage is five times greater this year than it was last year?
Please inform Mr. Edison if there are any other taxes of any kind whatever remaining unpaid against this land, and kindly return the enclosed bill receipted, much obliging
