Dear Sir:-
With reference to your letter of 8th ultimo in regard to Mr. Edison’s electric railway system, I beg to inform you that the electrical pressure which he maintains on the rails is so low that the leakage, even in wet weather, is an insignificant affair, and quite insufficient to cause a short circuit.
