Walter C. Humstone, Esq., Sup’t.,
Western Union Telegraph Company,

195 Broadway,
New York.
Dear Sir:-
Mr. Edison has asked me to refer to you the enclosed letter which he has received from the Superintendent of the New Jersey and Pennsylvania Concentrating Works, in regard to the establishment of a Western Union Telegraph office at Ogden, N.J., on which subject I believe you have already been communicated with a direct from the Works at Ogden. Mr. Edison would be much obliged if you would kindly inform him as to what the prospects are of an office being opened at that point.
Yours very truly,
A. O. Tate
Private Secretary,
M.
