B. January 20th, 1892. Mr. J. J. Olbrich, Worbenthal, Silesia, Austria. Dear Sir:- Mr. Edison’s Kinetograph, an instrument intended to reproduce motion and sound simultaneously – being a specially constructed camera and phonograph – will accomplish what you describe in your letter of 6th instant. Mr. Edison expects to have this apparatus ready for exhibition at the Chicago World’s Fair, in 1893. It will do for the eye what the phonograph does for the ear. Yours very truly, A. O.
