March 11, 1892. Dr. Henry S. Nash, No. 33 West 32nd Street, New York City. Dear Sir:- Mr. Edison duly received your letter of 6th instant, asking for information in regard to acrolein. In reply he has directed me to say that all he knows about acrolein is its effect upon the [haeves?]. Acroloin is produced in our chemical experiments, and is very abundant in burning cigarette paper. Yours truly, A. O. Tate Private Secretary.
