Exposition Headquarters,
Chicago, Illinois.
Dear Sir:-
Mr. Edison has directed me to acknowledge the receipt of your esteemed favor under date 7th ultimo, but which not received here until 25th instant, notifying him that the [illegible] appointed a member of the Advisory Council of the World’s [illegible] auxiliary of the World’s Columbian Exposition on an Electrical Congress, and to say in reply that he accepts the appointment with pressure and will gladly co-operate with the members of the Committee in their efforts to make the prepared Congress a success.
