Mr. George Chorpenning,
202 W. 78th Street,
New York City.
Dear Sir:-
Replying to yours of the 18th inst., I beg to state that after seeing you last week, we received suspension of all the orders we had for our product, and orders will not be resumed until after the Election. So it will be necessary for us to delay putting in the Clocks until we get ready to start up again, which we will think will be sometime in November.
I am very sorry to hear you have a bad cold and hope you will soon be out.
Yours very truly,
W.S. Mallory V.P.
[Marginalia] We send off 250 men[?] on Saturday. Will the upp clock matter when ready to resume operation
