Title

Notebook #67 N-80-01-02.1 (1880)

Description

This notebook was used between January 2 and January 16, 1880 to keep a record of lamps burning at the Menlo Park laboratory complex. Most of the entries were started by Charles Batchelor when the lamps first began burning. A daily record was then kept by either Batchelor or by another laboratory assistant, probably Francis Jehl. Some of the entries are by Edison, including a few extensive notes near the middle of the book. Toward the end of the book is an index to the lamps. The label on the front cover is marked \"Lamps Burning,\"" \""Jehl,\"" and \""Jan. 2/1880.\"" The book contains 132 numbered pages followed by 10 unnumbered pages. The pagination is irregular. With a few exceptions, only the right-hand pages are numbered.

Missing page number: 50."
