The book contains notes and drawings regarding chemicals that produce \"electric[ity] by friction\""; these notes may be related to motograph experiments. Also included are entries pertaining to storage batteries and phonograph recording apparatus, along with several rough phonograph drawings. A marginal notation indicates that some of this material was recopied into an unidentified \""big book.\"" The pages are unnumbered. Approximately 70 pages have been used.
