This non-standard-size notebook covers the period July 1903-November 1904. The first 59 pages contain notes by unidentified experimenters regarding storage battery endurance tests, along with a few log entries for shipments of electrolyte solution and cells. Beginning on page 67 is a series of notes by Edison on endurance tests. Six loose pages of notes regarding the battery experiments have been inserted into the book, the first two of which contain instructions by Edison. The book contains 253 numbered pages. Approximately 60 pages have been used. Many pages are blank; pages 65-66 have been removed from the book.
