This notebook covers the period September 1905-July 1906. It contains notes by Edison and unidentified experimenters, possibly Alvin D. Caskey and Charles Dally, relative to the electroplating of metals on electrodes for Edison\'s storage battery. Most of the entries pertain to the use of cobalt and copper; there are also entries for cadmium and antimony. The electroplating experiments found in this book were continued by Caskey in N-06-08-08.2 [not selected]. The front cover is labeled \"Sept 26 1905 Caskey. Plating Vol I.\"" The pages are unnumbered. Approximately 200 pages have been used.
