This notebook covers the period August 1889-April 1890. At the beginning of the book are notes and drawings by Charles Batchelor regarding electric brakes and electric railways. There are also notes by an unidentified experimenter on the use of the \"Edison meter,\"" meter readings for Glenmont and three other homes in Llewellyn Park for March and April 1890, and notes by Arthur E. Kennelly regarding electrical experiments. At the other end of the book are additional drawings by Batchelor on the electric railway, along with calculations by Kennelly concerning electric power distribution at Ochre Point in Newport, Rhode Island. In addition, there are notes regarding a series of electro-cautery experiments. The pages are unnumbered, and the book has been used in both directions. Several pages have been removed from the book. Approximately 120 pages have been used."
