This notebook was used by John A. Hanley during August-September 1919 for notes on experiments, many involving nickel-treated paper, with various batteries and battery components. Included is information on discharge rate and efficiency of experimental cells. Some of these experiments, which were carried out under Edison\'s supervision, may have been related to work on the auto starter and Ford generator. The front cover is labeled \"Storage Battery Experiments. Aug. 27/19. to - Sept 26/19 Book No.1. J. Hanley.\"" The pages are unnumbered. Approximately 115 pages have been used."
