This undated pocket notebook was used by Edison, probably during the winter and spring of 1911, to record ideas about business matters, experiments to be tried, and other tasks to be performed. Many of the items have been crossed out. Clean transcriptions of some of the entries in this book can be found in PN-11-05-15. Included are notes relating to storage batteries, record production, recorders and reproducers, and cement. There are also lists of inventions to be patented, as well as lists of musical selections and singers. The business-related entries include notes about prospective employees, advertising, costs, taxes, and film rentals to owners of home projecting kinetoscopes.

Among the numerous Edison employees mentioned in the book are battery experimenters Ralph Arbogast and Thomas D. Greenley; chemists Jonas Walter Aylsworth, Ignacy Goldstein, and Ludwig F. (Louis) Ott; master machinist Robert A. Bachman; Frank L. Dyer, president of Thomas A. Edison, Inc., and head of the Legal Dept.; Walter H. Miller, head of the Recording Dept.; and phonograph experimenter Alexander N. Pierman. The pages are unnumbered. Approximately 150 pages have been used.
