The book contains 384 numbered pages, many of which are blank. Approximately 15 percent of the volume has been selected. The unselected materials pertain to insurance, notes due, and accounts.
Six loose pages have been inserted into the book. These include undated documents by Edison pertaining to plant capacity and transportation costs. There are also notes by Mallory regarding tests with the Hoagland rolls.
