Description
This folder contains correspondence and other documents relating to the electric pen, a copying system developed by Edison during the summer and fall of 1875. The correspondents include Jerome Kidder, a physician, author, and manufacturer of electromedical instruments; and P. Mullarkey, an agent for the electric pen. In addition to the correspondence, there are bills and receipts, an agreement, and samples of work done by the electric pen. Related material can be found in "Gilliland & Co." (D-75-07).
All of the documents have been selected except for duplicate electric pen samples. The documents appear in the following order: correspondence and agreement, bills and receipts, samples.
