Description
This folder contains correspondence relating to the Paris Universal Exposition, at which Edison's newly invented phonograph was exhibited. The correspondents include chemist Thomas E. Jenkins of Louisville, Kentucky, who tried unsuccessfully to interest Edison in serving as honorary U.S. commissioner to the exposition. Also included is correspondence from Edison associates George H. Bliss, Edward H. Johnson, and Theodore Puskas.
All of the documents have been selected except for an advertising circular.
