Description
This folder contains correspondence and other documents relating to the maintenance of Seminole Lodge, Edison's winter home in Fort Myers, Florida. Most of the letters are by William E. Hibble, caretaker, and relate to the sale and shipment of machinery and other items from Fort Myers. One letter announces the arrival of Edison's father, Samuel, and James Symington.
Approximately 80 percent of the documents have been selected. Routine bills and receipts for supplies and labor have not been selected.
