Included are letters pertaining to Edison's and George Harrington's lawsuit against Jay Gould and the Atlantic & Pacific Telegraph Co. There is also an item regarding the transfer of Edison's rights to his facsimile telegraph to publisher William Randolph Hearst and a letter from Josiah C. Reiff discussing the death of Edison's father, Samuel.
