Description
This 24-page court record, entitled "Statement of Facts and Requests for Findings submitted on Behalf of Plaintiff," appears in Volume 73the third of three volumes of litigation records in Atlantic and Pacific Telegraph Company v. George B. Prescott, Western Union Telegraph Company, Lemuel W. Serrell and Thomas A. Edison. The so-called Quadruplex Case involved rights and title to seven Edison patent applications pertaining to duplex and quadruplex telegraphy. The original record was subsequently annotated by Judge Charles F. Sanford of the Superior Court of the City of New York as the basis for his ruling in favor of the defendant on June 3, 1878.
