Description
The correspondence and other documents in this folder cover the years 1928-1931 and relate to the declining health of Edison. Included is a detailed report of a physical examination conducted by Frank J. Sladen, physician-in-chief at the Henry Ford Hospital in Michigan, along with a letter explaining possible diagnoses. There are also many telegrams exchanged between Sladen and Ford's personal secretary, Frank Campsall, who accompanied the Edison family in 1929 to Fort Myers, Florida, and elsewhere.
