[X001G1C-F] Thomas Alva Edison Notes, Drawings and Sketchbooks -- Storage Battery Notebook (1902)
Description
This notebook contains entries from July 1902 describing Edison's experiments on the high-pressure formation of powdered iron, nickel, and graphite into corrugated cakes, apparently for use in storage batteries. Almost all of the entries are by Edison; a few are by an unidentified experimenter. Edison's notes indicate that laboratory technician Frederick P. Ott and chemist Jonas Walter Aylsworth assisted in the research. The Edison storage battery plant in Glen Ridge, New Jersey is also mentioned. The label on the front cover is inscribed "T. A. Edison's Book." The pages are unnumbered; 44 pages have been used.
