Cheever. Among the recipients are Edison, Painter, and other company officials including George H. Bliss, George L. Bradley, Gardiner G. Hubbard, and Thomas Sanders. There are also numerous letters addressed to exhibitors throughout the United States and Canada. Much of the correspondence pertains to the assignment of phonograph exhibitors and the specifications of exhibitor contracts. There are also letters providing instructions on how to operate the phonograph, commenting upon poor attendance at exhibitions, and discussing infringements of Edison's patents.
