Title
[D8818AEI], Letter from Charles Batchelor to Edison Machine Works, Samuel Insull, February 18th, 1888
Editor's Notes
"I have yours of Feb. 16, in regard to the paragraph in Mr. Jenks' letter to you."##I attended a meeting of the Standardizing Board and participated in a discussion regarding payment of expenses. Nothing was definitely settled. There was talk from Mr. Bergmann about the availability of the shops paying the whole expenses but no action was taken.##"It was understood that the shops would bear whatever expense there was to be borne in regard to the standardizing of old material."
