- Editor's Notes
- [an interesting reference to incorporate somehow] "We desire in the interest of economy to our customers, to call attention to several points which the consumers of the incandescent electric light are very naturally apt to overlook, and which bear directly upon the cost of their illumination." Incandescent isn't as bright as arc. Burning lamps "recklessly" drives up cost, and meters measure more accurately than gas meters. You can calculate daily expense. Customers should get good advice as to the number and distrubtion of lamps. Lots of decorative improvements for running wires along gas lines and fixtures; expensive, but well worth it.
