We beg to enclose the application papers for a divisional application of your application filed March 17, 1899, Serial No. 709,447 (Edison No. 1002). The Examiner has allowed the claim on the process in the original case and all of the claims which we have made in the enclosed papers except the first, which we hope to secure. The drawings in the divisional case are the same as those for the original. Please execute the enclosed papers as we have indicated.
