Letterhead of John E. Searles,
27 William Street,
New York.
April 11, 1900.
Thomas A. Edison, Esq.,
Orange, New Jersey.
My dear Mr. Edison:-
I think it is of the utmost importance that you and I have a conference over phonograph matters. It is possible for you to come over to New York on Saturday. If so, please name the hour which will be most convenient to you. I am sure that such an interview will be for our mutual interests.
Yours sincerely,
[John?] E Searles
