SPECIFICATIONS FOR SPELTER FOR USE IN THE MANUFACTUREOF BATTERY ZINCS Must be equal to the "Horsehead" brand supplied by the New Jersey Zinc Co. Must be free from lead, arsenic and antimony and should not have more than a trace of iron. Brodie, Westee, Kane, Redfearn, Higgins: Hereafter oxide plates should be made the following weights: "Q" Plates, 10 oz. "R" " 18 oz. "Z" " 7 oz. The special plates which we make for the General Electric Co. should be respectively: "Q" 8 1/2 oz. "R" 17 oz. J.R.S. 7/23/1901
