Dear Mr. Edison
I am very glad, to tell you how pleased I have been, to wait Mr. Dick and to follow all the experiments on your nickel accumulator.
The question of durability seems as clear as light, and the only question opened is to shorten the time necessary to start the Co an the workks.
I hope I may have been of little assistance to Dick, and you can account for all my help for the future.
I am exceedingly sorry not to be able to pay you a short visit, and to sail with Mr. Dick, but at this time of the year, it is impossible for me to leave my family and my works.
I hope you are always in good "[illegible}" because my English and believe me
