Dear Sir,
I called on you yesterday to inquire if you could use my services, but I was told I could not see you except by appointment. I graduated from the Sheffield Scientific School in 1899 having there studied chemistry and have spent the following two years studying electrochemistry in Germany. If you care to employ me please write and I will call to see you.
