Mr. Thomas A. Edison
Sir;-
Do you know when there is a refinery that can separate copper + platinum? or do you have a process. We have a copper mine in Wyoming 45 miles due west from Laramie. The ore contains 27 to 32% copper + 30 to 165 dollars worth of platinum [illegible]. The ore is a Blue [illegible] + occurs in the oldest geological formation known. We have a large body of ore + must get some process to separate the [illegible] + know it can be separated at ([illegible]) but do not like to ship it so far.
Please answer + oblige
Yours truly,
J.W. Hamilton
