We beg to remind you that the taxes on foreign patents for Apparatus for Reheating Compressed Air, in the name of Thomas A. Edison, will become due as follows:-
France, No. 288,908, due May 16, 1901, amount   $24

This patent must be worked within one year from the date of the first commercial  working in any other country. If, therefore, the invention has not been commercially worked,  (that is to say, put upon the market) within the past year, this working will not have to be effected on the date given above. Last year you informed us that the apparatus was then being experimentally worked only. Italy No. 110/63, due May 16, 1901, amount  $55
