February 13, 1903 Mr. W.E. Gilmore, Edison Phonograph Works, Orange, New Jersey My dear Mr. Gilmore: Mr. Mallory has written me the contents of your letter to phonographic bonds. As stated yesterday, I should be under obligation if you will let me have the statement of last year, pending the receipt of the statement for the year about closing. I will make discreet use of it. As arranged with you personally yesterday, I understand that Mr. Edison has authorized you to ship a phonograph to Bishop David S. Moore, c/o S/S/ "Siberia", San Francisco, Cal. This steamer will sail some time early in March. If you will kindly attend to this I shall be very much indebted to you. I should like about the same outfit which you have been shipping to our various friends upon our orders, excepting that I should like to have, in addition to the usual assortment of records, about four dozen blanks to be used in China. Thanking you very much for your attention, I beg to remain Yours very truly, W.S. Piling
