Thomas A. Edison, Esq., Edison Laboratory, West Orange, N.J. Dear Sir: G.F. reports:- West Orange. N.J., Sat. Oct 31st. 1903 I arrived in the vicinity of the Edison Laboratory at 6:40 a.m. and took up watch at the gate on Lakeside Ave., near the railroad crossing. Shortly after I arrived I saw three of the delegates on the corner of Lakeside Ave., and the railroad crossing. They remained there until all the employees had passed into the works. The delegates did not attempt to stop any of the men who are employed in the works. Shortly after 7 o'clock the delegates patrolled up and down the sidewalk in front of the works. Nothing further of interest transpired during the day and after all the delegates left the vicinity I discontinued and returned to New York. Yours truly, Pinkerton's National Detective Agency by Robt A. Pinkerton Reported, New York, 11/2/1903
