[TAE Marginalia] >I am one of the consulting Engineers of the co but know nothing about its financial affairs. I however believe Marconi will do all he says e can do all new things it requires time
Mr. Thomas A. Edison
Dear Sir:
Pardon the liberty I take but I am about to begin work for the Marconi Wireless Co. + I fixed much skepticism about the success of the matter.
Now if you will write a line on the enclosed card, in answer to this question: Do you believe in the commercial success of the Marconi wireless system of telegraphy? A decided affirmative, it will be worth much to me. I know, as one of its technical experts you are identified with the co + have no doubt of your faith in it but a statement direct from you to that effect, will weigh more with the people.
Hoping I am not asking anything unreasonable or troubling you too much. I will appreciate an early reply to the above question.
Yours truly,
J.I Miller
